HBO Coordinator, Distribution Marketing job with HBO | 385971 –


Serve as an integral member of the Distribution Marketing team with daily support duties related to the numerous functions of the Home Entertainment and Partner Marketing businesses.  
Primary responsibilities include assisting the team in many aspects of campaign and account-specific creative and tactical development and project management. Position will collaborate with many internal departments and outside agencies to effectively support the execution of marketing and merchandising assets for Partner Marketing as well as physical and digital creative for Home Entertainment.


  • Assisting Associate Manager in the many varied day-to-day functions involved in supporting the overall planning, execution, and communication of HBO/Cinemax Partner Marketing campaigns inclusive of:

    • Creative asset requests, management of timelines, creative review and QC’ing of materials, routing of materials to legal, gathering and communicating programming information, delivery of assets

    • Role includes helping to manage multiple external agencies in the development of a significant volume of creative assets for HBO’s digital partners such as Amazon, Roku and Samsung.

  • Generating kick-off briefs for internal departments to aid in the creation of packaging and menus for Home Entertainment product.

  • Facilitating the creation of signage and corrugate/ pallets for in-store display of physical HBO product at stores like Walmart, Target and Best Buy. 

  • Collaborating closely across the entire Distribution Marketing team, and with Partner Marketing and Home Entertainment to build creative strategy across both businesses.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for external agencies and internal creative teams and provide required support needed to bring projects to successful completion.

  • Maintain internal spreadsheets to facilitate the meeting of deadlines and suggest ways to streamline work and find team efficiencies.

  • Understanding the overall business objectives of HBO and its distribution partners by maintaining familiarity with and an understanding of the industry landscape.

  • B.A. or B.S. required

  • 2-3 years relevant business/affiliate marketing experience

  • Proficient with various computer applications, including Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word and a quick learner with various internal systems/applications

  • Knowledge of the Abode Creative Suite a plus
