PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)— A brand new lodge is coming to the Georgia Nationwide Fairgrounds and Agriculture Heart. LNW Hospitality and the Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority signed a land lease.
Based on town of Perry, the lodge will likely be a Fairfield by Marriott property. It will likely be hooked up to the Miller Murphy Howard constructing and have 100 to 110 rooms.
Steven Shimp is the Govt Director of the Fairgrounds. He feels the lodge is the ending piece to the constructing to make it a real conference middle.
“We’re hoping it’s going to spark different development on this space, whether or not or not it’s throughout the road and to me in a facility like ours the extra lodge rooms the merrier,” Shimp stated.
At this level, there is just one lodge close to the Fairgrounds. There may be room to broaden the lodge if the Fairgrounds outgrow the preliminary constructing. Shrimp says will probably be about two and a half years earlier than the lodge is full.
