Throughout a June 14 Metropolis Council assembly New Braunfels council members voted to approve an expert service settlement with Pape-Dawson for the completion of design plans, specs and price estimates for extra site visitors lanes on the intersection of FM 1101 and Barbarosa Street.
The enhancements will broaden Barbarosa Street from two to 4 lanes to match Creekside Crossing.
The venture is one among 4 security enchancment initiatives to obtain funding from the Texas Division of Transportation. Town of New Braunfels is slated to receive more than $1 million from TxDOT as a part of its Freeway Security Enchancment Program, and practically half will go towards the FM 1101/Barbarosa venture, which is anticipated to price $442,000. TxDOT will present 90% of building prices whereas town will present the opposite 10%, together with design and plan evaluation prices.
Development is anticipated to start in 2022.
