Local artists add murals to Welcome Wall


PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Native Panama Metropolis artists have joined palms with the Bay Arts Alliance so as to add murals to the Welcome Wall and beautify the town.

Heather Parker is simply one of many native artists who has added her personal contact to the Welcome Wall. Parker says her mural represents life in a small city and comprises nature, animals, and folks. Her mural is a collage created after Hurricane Michael and is a part of her assortment of post-hurricane artwork.

“The entire welcome wall, to Panama Metropolis, it’s bringing pleasure,” Parker mentioned. “Any beautification efforts anyone makes conjures up any individual else to additionally put forth a bit little bit of effort and go for beautification and that hometown satisfaction.”

Members of the Bay Arts Alliance have plans for a number of extra murals in St. Andrews, Glenwood, and Millville. The Bay Arts Alliance is internet hosting fundraisers and getting grants from varied locations to assist them make their mark on Panama Metropolis.
