MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Work on the I-40 bridge continues.
The bridge has been shut down for almost six weeks.
Monday, the Tennessee Division of Transportation (TDOT) posted a video of crews reducing the part one plate that was put in. All through this week, inspections, weld testing, and routine upkeep will go on.
Design plans for part two got to the contractor over the weekend. The subsequent step might be to get the plates, bolts, and different supplies for part two
TDOT expects to launch extra info on that timeline later this week.
