Golf event proceeds to support services for Wisconsinites with Down syndrome


COTTAGE Grove, Wis. (WMTV) – The Madison Space Down Syndrome Society (MADSS) introduced the date Thursday for its annual golf outing to lift funds for the group’s programming and companies.

The Diesel Ahead Golf Outing for Down Syndrome will happen July 9 at The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, MADSS acknowledged.

MADSS defined the purpose of the outing is to advance “acceptance, inclusion and alternatives” for folks with Down syndrome in south central Wisconsin.

Registration will start at 9 a.m. that day and the shotgun begin will kick off at 1 p.m. There shall be 18 holes of golf to play, adopted by a cocktail reception at 4 p.m.

The outing will even function contests, prizes and raffles, MADSS added.

Those that usually are not snug to attend the occasion should purchase a voucher to support MADSS and play a spherical of golf on a day of their alternative.
