PARK RAPIDS — Two members of the Bemidji Excessive College women golf staff fell wanting state event berths Friday.
Seniors Nicki Son and Rylie Jones competed as people within the second spherical of the Part 8-3A Match at Headwaters Golf Membership in Park Rapids.
Son and Jones carded rounds of 83 and 98, respectively, throughout Friday’s closing spherical. Paired together with her first-round 88, Son tied for twelfth total at 171. Jones positioned thirty third after taking pictures 96 Thursday to complete at 194.
The highest 5 people not on the part staff champion qualify for state. Son completed six strokes wanting incomes a state bid.
Alexandria overcame a four-shot deficit and captured the staff title by taking pictures 630 for the event, 4 photographs forward of first-round chief Brainerd.
Two Alexandria gamers shared medalist honors as particular person part champion. Cora Larson (73-74) and Hannah Boraas (74-73) every shot 147 for the event.
