NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police say an Asian man was threatened whereas driving the subway in Manhattan.
In accordance with police it occurred Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. because the practice was approaching thirty fourth Avenue and sixth Avenue.
Police say the suspect was panhandling on the practice when he walked as much as an Asian man and requested him if he was Chinese language. He then threatened to kill him except he gave him his bag an telephone.
Fortunately the sufferer was capable of get off the practice and wasn’t harm. He additionally managed to hold on to all of his property. The suspect stayed on the practice.
The incident is being investigated as a potential hate crime.
