Río Cuarto, the latest canton in Costa Rica, seeks to place itself as a tourist destination by means of its rivers, lagoons, flora, fauna, and hospitality of its inhabitants. To attain this, the municipality launched the canton model: “Río Cuarto, todo por descubrir” (Río Cuarto, every little thing to find), which features a collection of movies displaying a few of its pure sights.
“This launch is a historic occasion. We have now completed a job filled with enthusiasm, all the time in search of excellence and positioning the title of the canton, so that folks know the place we’re”, mentioned José Miguel Jiménez, mayor of this municipality. A musician from Río Cuarto wrote the hymn for the Canton
Earlier than the launch of the canton model, the municipality created a contest for composers to compete for being the creator of the Hymn to Río Cuarto. Musician Erick Mora was the winner.
His lyrics are impressed by the pure beauties of the place and honor the three districts of the canton, in addition to highlighting the significance of water.
