WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – The handwritten letter of nice theoretical physicist Albert Einstein along with his most well-known method E=mc^2 has been bought for $1,243,707, Boston-based RR Public sale stated.
The preliminary value for the letter stood at about $400,000.
The bought letter was written by Einstein to Polish American physicist Ludwik Silberstein, certainly one of his critics, on October 26, 1946.
“Your query may be answered from the E=mc^2 method, with none erudition,” the opening phrase of the letter says.
The method defines the power (E) because the product of mass (m) with the pace of sunshine squared (c^2).
